Materials:
4 medium-sized tomatoes (or 1 can of chopped canned tomatoes)
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove (optional)
1 tablespoon flour
4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
Salt (according to taste)
Black pepper (according to taste)
1 teaspoon sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
Half a cup of milk or cream (optional, so that the soup gets a creamy texture)
Fry the onion and garlic in butter and olive oil. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-10 minutes. Add flour, mix and add chicken broth or vegetable broth. Season with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. after boiling for 15-20 minutes, smooth the soup. Add milk or cream and boil for a while longer. Serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
